Brett Ludden
Co-founder, Managing Partner
During his 26 years in the financial services industry, Brett has worked across the spectrum: leading teams at one of the largest banks in the United States, forming and building out a mortgage lender/servicer/securitizer, and consulting for Fortune 500 financial institutions.
At Spinnaker Consulting Group, Brett led engagements for large banks, FinTechs, and SaaS, acting as a trusted advisor for senior executives overseeing functions including credit strategy, contact center, collections/recoveries, reporting, Agility analytics, model development, model validation, automation, and data infrastructure modernization.
At Capital One, Brett led analytics teams across the organization including corporate development, fraud, marketing strategy, credit policy, and credit risk. Brett was involved in highly regulated processes including CCAR/DFAST, ALLL, and SOX process and control management focusing most of his time in mortgage-related activities.
Brett has an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia where he studied Mechanical Engineering.

David Leonard
Co-founder
David has 15 years of experience providing data science and advanced analytics solutions across banking, insurance, and government. He partners with senior executives to build predictive analytics systems to help develop insights, make better decisions, and meet regulatory requirements.
At FI Consulting, David oversaw all client delivery teams, comprising consultants and project managers delivering advanced analytics, model risk management, credit risk, data engineering, and technology solutions. He led engagements to help clients better manage some of the nation’s largest and most complex financial portfolios.
Prior to FI Consulting, David held key positions at Goldman Sachs, the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, Hartford Insurance Group, and the U.S. Dept of the Treasury.
David has an MA in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and an undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science from Brigham Young University.
